Tercer piloto del equipo Penske Racing, el estadounidense A. J. Allmendinger, que en Alabama volvió a correr en monopostos, participara por cuarta vez del GP de Long Beach, que es la tercera fecha de la temporada 2013 de la IZOD IndyCar Series.
