La relación entre Josef Newgarden y CFH Racing continuará en 2016, al anunciarse hoy que el norteamericano permanecerá con ellos por una temporada más en la IndyCar Series.
Después de tres campañas de aprendizaje y crecimiento en la categoría más rápida del mundo, el originario de Tennessee tuvo su mejor producción en 2015 al lograr su primera pole, en Milwaukee, junto con sus dos victorias iniciales, tanto en Alabama como en Toronto; asimismo, llegó a la fecha final con posibilidad matemática para lograr el campeonato, pero eventualmente finalizó séptimo en los puntos.
«Estoy muy emocionado por volver al CFH Racing. Todo se basa en la confianza y la fe que nuestros jefes Ed Carpenter, Sarah Fisher, Wink Hartman, Stuart Reed y Tony George tienen en mí», declaró en un comunicado.
